Multimedia Production

Multimedia production at the Office of Instructional Resources integrates graphics, image processing, document imaging, CD-ROMs, DVD, webcasting, digital video and animation into presentations.

Our staff provides support and training for multimedia applications includingPowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Pagemaker, Macromedia Flash, Director, Freehand, Keynote and manymore. Our services also include Real Media and Windows Media encoding for online class usage.

We havedeveloped the UCF Imagebankwhere you will find an archive
of UCF related images in digital format for use in your multimedia projects.

We can turn your documents into digital files or your digital files into posters, slides or CD-ROM's.

OIR provides services designed to meet individual needs for digital image acquisition and processing. Our goal is to keep current with advances in software and hardware technology which will enhance the primary educational goals as well as the distributed education initiatives of the University of Central Florida.

Through the Faculty Multimedia Center, the Digital Image Processing Lab and OIR's network, faculty may gain access to state of the art audio and visual technology to enable them to enhance their classroom instruction in multimedia classrooms.
